[ He looks up at Felix, surprised, but nods and takes his hand, pulling himself up even though his legs continue to shake, sweat pouring over him and he can feel the bruises forming already beneath his skin. He coughed, going to get a quick drink before returning. ]
[Felix gives him enough time to get a drink before he throws a surprise fist at Jim's face right as he's turning. Apparently yes. He's good to keep going. And to allow the man the chance to fight without thinking for a bit.]
[ He would thank Felix for it later. It was precisely what he needed, and he pushed himself to a brink, finally stopping when his limbs began to shake and his breath came in hard, ragged gasps and his lungs burned and his eyes stung from the salt. He slumped down, his shirt soaked through with sweat, body aching with forming bruises and the iron of blood on his tongue from a split lip when Felix had caught him.
He looked over at the other man, wondering what Felix thought of him now. ]
Thank you... I... I'm good now.
[ Probably. But he couldn't go anymore, he knew that much. ]
[Panting hard, he watches Jim for a bit before going over and sitting next to him. They're going to be here for a bit until the other man can find his feet again. Pulling his shirt off, he rubs his face with it to wipe away any of the sweat there. And some blood from a couple of times when a blow had connected.
He might have let those connect. Don't tell anyone. He'll deny it until the end of time.]
Just catch your breath. Then we'll shower. You look disgusting.
[ He let out a ragged breath that stole his breath and he coughed, shaking his head. Damn it, Felix. But it made his chest feel a little lighter too. He gave him a tired smiled, but it was grateful too. ]
And you smell like a skunk. So yeah, a shower sounds good. Just... just give me five.
[He snorts at that and leans back against the wall nearby. And pointedly throws his shirt in the man's face. Yeah it means it's going to get covered in more blood but he doesn't care.]
[ Felix was being kind. Not that Felix wasn't kind on the whole, but he was normally more grumpy about that sort of thing, hiding it behind this stoic face. He appreciated the more open showing, even the soft teasing. It was a further release after letting his anger and frustration out in the physical, and he was glad that Felix did not look at him so differently that he could not be like this with him. ]
So generous. I'll have to make sure to repay you properly.
[ He leaned into him, grateful for the help. It wasn't just the physical at this point - it the was emotional release as well, the relief of that, however temporary, bringing on a dual exhaustion. ]
[Though he's a good bit shorter than Jim, he doesn't struggle with supporting him as he gets him to the showers. And pointedly ignores the fact that the idiot still plans to try. Instead, he pushes him onto a bench and then goes to start one of the showers, finding a stool and plopping it under the water.
As he comes back, he starts stripping down, even freeing his hair. Yep. He's planning on making this idiot sit his ass down for the shower.]
[ Kirk doesn't really fight Felix on any of his directions, and is
quietly grateful that Felix found a stool for him to sit on. Standing
seemed an onerous task at the moment without Felix's support, and leaning
on him in the shower did not sound comfortable for either of them.
He takes a seat on the same bench as Felix, wincing as he
tugged off his shirt and then began to work on his pants. It felt like
peeling off a second skin, more trouble than it was worth, gross almost. He
really had gone a number, hadn't he? He got them pushed down, huffed and
started pushing again, legs going at odd angles as he tried to shake his
trousers off weakly. It looked something like a kitten stuck in a ball of
yarn. ]

[Rolling his eyes, Felix moves in. In a matter of seconds, he has Jim stripped the rest of the way down. Then it's just a matter of getting him back up and sat down on the stool once they're both naked.
Once there he begins splashing water on him, making sure he's good and wet before blocking the stream with his own body so he can use soap to start cleaning the man up.]
When I say I want to shower with you, this isn't how I imagine it.
[ He has to offer some quip. It was the only way to feel a little less powerless in the situation was Felix bathes him. How was it that Felix was fine and he was no better than a limp noodle? He's not really complaining about Felix bathing him though, glad for his help otherwise he probably would have just sat on the shower floor and there's really nothing sadder than a grown man sitting on the floor in a shower. ]
Next time conserve your energy better and you'll be able to.
[He's not really one to quip but he can manage it sometimes. Especially if he's fond of a person. Which he really is with Jim, even if he has trouble admitting to it.]
You also didn't say you wanted to shower with me. I told you I was cleaning you up because you reek.
[ And he meant it, in more ways than one. Getting all this anger out, all this pent up frustration and fury, it would help. Was it the healthiest way to do so? Probably not, but at least he had gone to Felix, someone he knew could stop him if he was pushing it to far, into dangerous territory. ]
Honestly, one would think your mind is purer than new fallen snow sometimes.
[ He rubbed his nose before catching Felix's hand, tugging him over just enough to lean his head against his arm. Holding for a few beats. One. Two. Three. Then he let him go to continue with his task. ]
[His cheeks color and then he looks off to the side before finishing with washing the man up. When he's done, he goes to do the same to himself, intentionally not getting help because damn it the idiot should rest.]
[ For once he doesn't try to argue with Felix or otherwise help,
content, it seems to lean against the shower stall and let the water's heat
continue to soak into him. He leaned his head back, as if half-dreaming,
opening them again when the water was turned off. ]

[ He grunted and worked his legs beneath him, slowly inching his way up with the help of the wall. Even that took it out of him and he huffed. ]

Come on, you half-wit. Let's get cleaned up.
[He'll come back for his shirt later.]

I wash your back, you wash mine?

You can't even stand without help. You're not washing anyone's back.

I think I can manage to dry myself off.
[ He smirked at him as he got himself up. ]
But I won't say no to a good rub down ~

[Rolling his eyes, he went to go fetch the towels. Jim's is "politely" tossed in his face while Felix goes to dry himself off.]
