Felix, you absolute brat. But he kind of loved it.
He laughed, sweeping the fruit into his mouth and swallowing before
reaching for Felix’s sweet hand. He brought it to his lips, licking the
trailing juices off his palm before taking his fingers between his lips,
sucking them clean. His eyes never left Felix as he proceeded to fondle his
fingers with his tongue, quite the naughty glint in those baby blues.
Felix was just looking for a napkin or something to clean his hand off when he felt it grabbed. Blinking, he watched as that wicked mouth cleaned his hand and then started to suck at the digits. His face steadily grew redder and redder as he looked away.
"Your mouth is covered in sweet. You're not helping," he tried to protest. However he wasn't pulling his hand away which was the real sign that he was just embarrassed but not bothered.
"Just figured I shouldn't let anything go to waste," he chirped, quite pleased with himself. He set he bowl aside, returning to snuggling up with Felix, resting his head against the back of Felix's shoulder. His arms settled around his waist, holding him close, but loose - comfortably, really. He breathed out, and in, the slow rhythm of resting, content to be quiet as Felix seemed to enjoy.
It was almost weird how much he liked the quiet moment between them. But it seriously was nice. Felix felt himself relaxing again, even if he was trying to pretend like the hand thing had turned him on a bit. Because that was gross. Definitely gross.
He popped some food into his mouth to distract himself instead.
He shifted his weight, twining their legs and nestling closer, the heat of sex wearing off and the cool of the room beginning to set in. He could feel Felix's arm moving as he fed himself, smiling a bit against his shoulder as he simply drank in the quiet and Felix's heat and these subtle movements of his body.
"Penny for your thoughts," he mumbled, moving to press a flurry of kisses across the back of his neck.
"I don't know what that is." He supposed it was probably currency but he couldn't be sure. Though he did shiver from the kisses to the back of his neck, nudging him with his shoulder for being so distracting. It was cheating. It wasn't fair.
Finished with his food, he put the dishes on the floor to let the puppies lick the plate. Which meant he had to bend away from Kirk and essentially only had his hips against him since those arms kept him somewhat trapped.
"It's the smallest denomination of currency - well, it used to be. Phrase
just stuck around. I guess yours might be a copper?" he guessed, continuing
to play those little kisses and nips across his shoulders until he moved
away, where he twined their legs more firmly together, dutifully keeping
hold. "It's a way of asking what you're thinking about."
"We don't use copper." Felix left the plate below and used his muscles to pull himself back up. Settling there, he let himself sink into the warmth of the other man in his bed. It was comfortable. Nice.
"I was just thinking that you're active for someone apparently resting. It's distracting."
"Am I? Sorry. I get told that a lot though. My CMO - uh, my chief medical officer - hates it when I get hurt, cause I'm a horrible patient. Never wanting to rest," he chuckled, doing his best to calm himself and be still for Felix. He was quiet for a beat. "I dunno, I guess... I just always have this need to move, to somehow keep stepping forward. Having your heart stop makes sitting still difficult."
He felt the other man going still to calm down and realized quickly it was for him. That was a little embarrassing. He tried to pretend like he hadn't noticed by pressing himself firmly against the older man. There. Better. Definitely.
Well, he wasn't one to mind being pressed into like that, able to tighten
his arms around Felix and thoroughly enjoy the warmth of his body.
"No, thankfully. I make no promises for if you steal my breath away later,"
he teased him, peppering those little kisses across his shoulder again.
Okay, so he couldn't stay one hundred percent still, but he thought he
should at least get an A for trying.
That earned him a sudden jab to the ribs and a glare. That line was terrible. Just awful. Huffing, he pointedly rolled onto his side to present his back to him. It was a little much for his hips but he pretended not to notice. He was aware that he'd just had a man pound him into this bed, after all.
The jab earned a grunt, but he laughed and readjusted himself so he could
remain nestled close to Felix, draping his arms back around him, letting a
long, slow breath of contentment.
“Yeah, I like you too,” he chuckled, stifling a yawn.
There was a grunt from Felix and a pillow was shoved in Kirk's face before he settled his head on the other. Might as well get some sleep. It was going to be weird having another person in his bed but he'd deal with it.

...Maybe even because it was nice.
